I am Director of Search Engine Marketing at Blue Fountain Media, a website design company located in the West Village. As I continue to research and practice the art of SEO, I will share my take on things. My background stems from journalism and minor php MySql programming that I acquired while building the first-of-its kind student-run video production platform at the American University of Paris, the most advanced and open system of its kind in an American university at that time.
I worked for nearly a year for the New York Times Company, for which I managed homepage content and coordinated new media production for the web. Prior to the NYT, I was a journalist for Eurosport.com.

Below is a list of SEO’s in NYC that I know (people who I have met in person). Want to be added to the list? See this post.
Zack Sinkler
Zachary Sinkler is currently my colleague at Blue Fountain Media. He is specializing himself in PPC management and is currently handling a number of small accounts. He is originally from Rhode Island and lived abroad for quite a while before settling in Brooklyn.
Ryan Walden
I met Ryan Walden, consultant and partner at TraceMedia, a small but effective NYC SEO company, at the Think Cafe on Jan 28. Ryan has a background in design and later moved into SEO when he realized that none one was seeing any of the beautiful work his former agency was doing.
